In the midst of New Years tidying, we've found our fair share of stuffed friends that have seen better days. Maybe you're ready to toss that puppy with the torn ear but your kiddo isn't? Or their stuffed doll's leg has come completely off & you don't know how to tackle the issue. Melissa Bracken, owner of The Happy Groundhog Studio is here to help your kiddos mend their favorite friends, and teach them valuable skills in hand sewing while they're at it.
In this class, students will repair any stuffed toy from home that has a tear or detached limb. Don't have a roughed-up toy but still want to participate? Come to class and we'll have some scrap fabric for you to practice stitching on! Each student will go home with their very own sewing kit too - just in case there are more stuffed patients waiting for them at home.
**Parents are asked to stay and participate in the process with children under the age of 10. Parents or caregivers are welcome to stay and participate with older children as well**
Sessions are limited to 12 students, so each participant will receive the one on one attention needed to complete this project.
This class includes all materials, professional instruction. No experience necessary.
**Minimum 4 registered seats must be booked to hold this session
