Taking care of real animals can be a bit overwhelming - especially if they're WILD animals, like the ones you see in the zoo! Keepers in Training camp will give your wildlife enthusiasts a chance to create, care, and really think about what it would take to be an animal trainer at a zoo!

Camp starts with an adoption event, where campers pick their new (stuffed) friend-in-need! What does their specific animal need to thrive? What is their natural habitat? We'll spend some time researching each animal - figuring out all the details, then get to making the best world ever for these new friends! We’ll sculpt food and water bowls using real clay, mold food food that nourishes them - and maybe some for fun! We'll make enrichment toys and accessories for our pals with paws as we weave art and imaginative play into this super fun week!

Our creative kid camps emphasize sculpting, painting, drawing,  recycled arts, and imaginative play allowing all our campers to explore and create together.

Suggested ages: Kindergarten through 5th grade

All campers registered during early bird registration receive a FREE camp T-shirt!

During the last 10 minutes of class on the final day, we invite our parents and caregivers to join us to see all the work that we have completed together. More info will be released in our welcome email that you will receive the Friday before your camp begins.

Art is for Everyone! If you have a child who has sensory issues, specific needs or any disabilities, please reach out and rest assured that this camp is a safe space for them to find comfort in creating.

Students will need to bring a snack + drink, and wear clothing that is able to get messy.

**Minimum 8 registered seats must be booked to hold this session.

If there is no space available, you will be added to the waitlist and given the spot should space become available. 29 - 15 days before camp: If you would like to change or cancel your registration within this time frame, we will attempt to fill your spot with a waitlisted camper. If a replacement is found, you will receive an exchange (to available camps) or a 2024 studio credit, minus our admin fee of $25. If we cannot find a replacement, no credits or exchanges will be given. No credits or camp exchanges will be allowed less than 15 days before the camp session begins. We appreciate your understanding and agreement to our policies upon purchase.

If your child needs to miss a single day of multi-day camp, we will always do our best to let them experience some form of what they missed while away upon their return. If they should miss the final day of camp, all of your campers projects will be held for 30 days to pick up at your leisure. In the event of your child's illness or family emergency that would cause your child to miss all of camp, you will be given a code to access our virtual classroom for 30 days, where your child can choose from over 150 fun projects to create with me remotely. You also have the option to send a friend or family member (who meets the age recommendations) in your child's place if we receive advance notice of the change.

We reserve the right to cancel events and classes due to low enrollment, staff illness, extreme weather, or conditions beyond our control. Registrants will be notified via email and phone if an event is canceled for an emergency less than 24 hours before class. If we initiate the cancellation of an event you will be given the option to move your registration to another class, accept studio credit, or receive a full refund.
