Solid Rock Church South Women’s Pottery Night

This private event is open to women from Solid Rock Church South and will include a festive selection of Christmas pottery, including vintage-poured pieces, Christmas trees, ornaments, mugs, figurines, and other seasonal favorites, along with our year-round inventory of dishes and everyday home decor pieces.

Join us for a cozy Christmas pottery painting night at McHarper Manor and The Curious Kiln! Upon arrival, you will browse our pottery studio shelves to select the piece(s) of your choice. We have over 1,000 styles of pre-fired bisque just waiting for you! Pottery prices vary depending on the piece selected, so you’ll be able to choose something that fits your style and budget.

Cost to Reserve Your Seat: $20 per person

When purchasing your seat, please note that this is a workshop reservation. Your $20 registration fee reserves your seat and will be applied toward the pottery piece(s) you choose to create that evening. Your remaining pottery balance will be paid at the event after your deposit is applied.

An $8 studio fee per painter will also apply the night of the event. This fee covers use of glazes, supplies, kiln firing, and finishing/packaging of your pottery.

No experience necessary! We’ll walk you through the process and help you feel comfortable creating something festive and fun.

A seat must be purchased for each person in attendance. Because space and seating are limited, we are not able to accommodate project “sharing” or extra “helpers” for this event.

Workshop space will open for seating beginning at 5:30 PM. Please do not arrive before then, as our team will be preparing the space for your group.

Finished pieces will be kiln-fired, packaged, and ready for pickup in approximately 2 weeks — just in time to decorate for the holidays!

Please note: Christmas trees and vintage-pour pieces are available in limited quantities and selection will vary. We’ll have a festive variety of pieces available, but specific items cannot be guaranteed in advance unless pre-ordered/pre-paid with our staff by September 30th.

Space is limited, and registration will close automatically once the event reaches capacity.

We regret that we cannot grant refunds or credits for event registrations upon customer cancelation or no-show.

We reserve the right to cancel events and classes due to low enrollment or extreme weather. Registrants will be notified via email 24 hours prior to class if an event is cancelled. If we must cancel an event due to low enrollment, your will be given the option to move your registration to another class or recive a full refund.
I/We give permission for photos/videos to be taken of all participants registered for this activity.

I/We understand that photos/video may be published online, in printed materials and/or for other promotional purposes, but only to help document student work and illustrate McHarper Manor and the teaching artists. I/We hereby waive any ownership rights, as well as any right that I/we may have to inspect or approve the finished product in which a photographic or video image may be used including the advertising copy or other matter that may be used in connection therewith or the use to which it may be applied.
This agreement releases McHarper Manor/The Curious Kiln from all liability relating to injuries that may occur during classes, camps, workshops, or events. By signing this agreement, I agree to hold McHarper Manor entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence.

I also acknowledge the risks involved in any hands on event, class, camp, or workshop. These include but are not limited to burns, cuts, slips, falls, or other injury. I swear that I am participating voluntarily, and that all risks have been made clear to me. Additionally, I do not have any conditions that will increase my likelihood of experiencing injuries while engaging in this activity.

By registering and signing below I forfeit all right to bring a suit against McHarper Manor for any reason. In return, I will receive participation in the event for which I am registered. I will also make every effort to obey safety precautions as listed in writing and as explained to me verbally. I will ask for clarification when needed.

By enrolling for this class, I fully understand and agree to the above terms.
