Studio policies and practices for safe, creative, fun during COVID

We know that this time is full of unknowns, but at McHarper Manor, we want you to be confident about the environment your child will be in and what we're doing to keep them safe. Here's how we're handling children's classes and camps in light of Ohio's recommendations regarding COVID-19.

  • Instructors / staff will check their temperature each morning. If the instructor for your class or camp's temperature is found to be over 100 degrees you will be notified and class will be rescheduled.

  • Classes and camps will hold a maximum of 9 children in the studio.

  • Students will have forehead temperature checks upon arrival. An instructor will meet you at the door to perform the check. If any individual has a fever of 100 degrees or higher, they may not enter the facility. Upon entering, children will be required to wash their hands. Students' hands will also be washed after using the restroom and before a child is released for the day. Parents will text when they have arrived for pick up and an instructor will escort the child out to the parent / caregiver.

  • If students are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 they should not come to class. We will happily offer you credit to return when they are symptom free. Should an issue arise, we will isolate any individual who develops symptoms and require that they be picked up immediately.

  • We will no longer allow eating or drinking in the studio to avoid the risk of virus spread.

  • We will not be offering multiple camp sessions in the same day until further notice. This is due to the deep cleaning that will take place before a group of children uses the supplies and facility. At this time, we will host only one set of children for camps each day so that we have more time for proper sanitation after camps. As time passes, we may be able to make modifications and re-open afternoon sessions, but at this point with limited staff to reduce exposure we are not able to host multiple camps in a day.

  • You will be required to sign a new waiver for your child prior to classes and camps (even if we already have one on file). This new waiver will include our COVID-19 policies and requirements for this season.

Should you have any questions about our policies at any time - please do not hesitate to contact us.
