Beginners Sewing Class for all ages; kids through adults!
Weekly on Mondays: 6-8pm
Session runs for 4 weeks: April 29th - May 20th
Small group lessons with Donna
Donna has been sewing for over 50 years and can teach you all the basics in just a few short weeks!
In this four-week course, you will learn to sew a new project in each class and build those skills with each passing week! You can even bring your sewing machine so you can learn to use it to the best of your ability. Don't have a machine? No worries -- we can easily supply one for you!
If your child has an interest in learning to sew, a parent or guardian can work alongside to help them navigate.
In this four-week session, you can expect to learn a variety of skills such as;
How your sewing machine works
Supplies needed and used
Acquiring knowledge of fabrics
Cutting designs with (or without) a pattern
Focus on proper stitches, as the straight stitch, zig-zag and hand-sewing stitches will also be taught
