Animation Camp with Steve Harpster!
🎬 Ages 9+ | 4-Day Camp | 2 Hours/DayMonday, June 2nd - Thursday, June 5th: 2-4pm daily!
Get ready to bring your ideas to life—one frame at a time! In this special four-day camp led by award-winning illustrator and animation pro Steve Harpster, students will dive into the world of digital animation!
Campers will learn the foundations of animation and create their very own GIF (short animation)! Whether your child loves to doodle, tell stories, or dreams of becoming the next Pixar star—this camp is a perfect creative playground.
🎨 What they’ll do:
Design and develop original characters
Learn basic principles of animation
Use ToonSquid to animate their own GIF
Share their final creations at the end of camp!
*No previous experience needed.
Participants will need to bring a charged iPad with apple pencil (or similar stylus) to class daily, and have the ToonSquid app dowloaded to their device. *ToonSquid available in the App Store.
Suggested ages: 9+
Bring a snack and a drink with a lid, as we’ll have a little break daily.
**Minimum 4 registered seats must be booked to hold this session.

We reserve the right to cancel events and classes due to low enrollment, staff sickness, extreme weather, or other conditions beyond our control. Registrants will be notified via email 24 hours prior to class if an event is cancelled for low registration, and every attempt will be made to contact participants as soon as possible in the event of emergency cancellation.
