Art Club for students entering grades 4th-6th
Weekly on Wednesdays @ 6-7pm
July Summer session begins July 10th & runs through July 31st.
 
In art club, young artists in 4th-6th grade will learn about contemporary art and art history, plus focus heavily on the elements of art like color, line, pattern, texture, and shape while we work together to create some AMAZING art!
 
This season's projects will include two to three in-depth pieces, with the possibility for more, if time allows.

Sessions are limited so that each child can receive one-on-one attention to harness and grow their skills in art. This class is also open and encouraged to homeschool families looking to add fine arts into their curriculum.
 
Art is for EVERYONE! No "art skills" required, just an eagerness to participate and try new things. With increased fine motor skills and improved dexterity forming around these ages, we will begin more advanced artwork with our incoming 3rd graders through 5th graders. If you have a younger or older student that you think would be a good fit for this class, we would love to speak with you! This class includes all materials, and professional instruction. No art experience is necessary. Participants will receive an email with more information regarding drop off & pick up information prior to the start of class.  No "Drop in" rate at this time; pricing is for the full multi-week session only. No "make-up classes" are available, as this is offered during a single class time per week. We will always work with your students and offer extra time/options to get them caught up due to any weeks missed.

We regret that we cannot grant refunds or credits for event registrations upon customer cancelation or no-show.

We reserve the right to cancel events and classes due to low enrollment, staff sickness, extreme weather, or other conditions beyond our control. Registrants will be notified via email 24 hours prior to class if an event is cancelled for low registration, and every attempt will be made to contact participants as soon as possible in the event of emergency cancellation.
I/We give permission for photos/videos to be taken of all participants registered for this activity.

I/We understand that photos/video may be published online, in printed materials and/or for other promotional purposes, but only to help document student work and illustrate McHarper Manor and the teaching artists. I/We hereby waive any ownership rights, as well as any right that I/we may have to inspect or approve the finished product in which a photographic or video image may be used including the advertising copy or other matter that may be used in connection therewith or the use to which it may be applied.
This agreement releases McHarper Manor from all liability relating to injuries that may occur during classes, camps, workshops, or events. By signing this agreement, I agree to hold McHarper Manor entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence.

I also acknowledge the risks involved in any hands on event, class, camp, or workshop. These include but are not limited to burns, cuts, slips, falls, or other injury. I swear that I am participating voluntarily, and that all risks have been made clear to me. Additionally, I do not have any conditions that will increase my likelihood of experiencing injuries while engaging in this activity.

By registering and signing below I forfeit all right to bring a suit against McHarper Manor for any reason. In return, I will receive participation in the event for which I am registered. I will also make every effort to obey safety precautions as listed in writing and as explained to me verbally. I will ask for clarification when needed.
