Beginners Art Club for students entering 1st - 3rd grade
Weekly on Wednesdays @ 4:45 -5:45pm
June Summer session begins June 5 & runs through June 26th
 
Seasons will be changing again and creativity will be growing as we jump into new and exciting projects! Artworks created throughout the series will include drawing, painting, mixed media, printmaking, and sculptural / 3D elements
 
In this 4-week season, budding artists in KG-3rd grade will learn about famous artists and focus on the elements of art like color, line, pattern, texture, and shape while we create AMAZING art in several mediums! Professionally taught lessons will be cumulative and often more advanced and in-depth than what a child will receive in school & heavily focus on elements & theories of art. Sessions are limited so that each child can receive one-on-one attention to harness and grow their skills in art. This class is also open and encouraged to homeschool families looking to add fine arts into their curriculum.
 
Art is for EVERYONE! All abilities & developmental levels welcome. If you have a younger or older student that you think would enjoy this class, we would love to speak with you! This class is taught montessori style and accommodates a range of ages - allowing each individual artist to work to their fullest potential.
 
This class includes all materials, professional instruction. No art experience necessary. Participants will receive an email with more information regarding drop off & pick up information prior to the start of class. No "Drop in" rate at this time; pricing is for the full multi-week session only. No "make up classes" available, as this is offered during a single class time per week. We will always work with your student to get them caught up for any weeks missed.
 
**Minimum 6 registered seats must be booked to hold this session. 2+ Instructors / assistants available at all times. Student to teacher ratio no more than 7:1

We regret that we cannot grant refunds or credits for event registrations upon customer cancelation or no-show.

We reserve the right to cancel events and classes due to low enrollment, staff sickness, extreme weather, or other conditions beyond our control. Registrants will be notified via email 24 hours prior to class if an event is cancelled for low registration, and every attempt will be made to contact participants as soon as possible in the event of emergency cancellation.
I/We give permission for photos/videos to be taken of all participants registered for this activity.

I/We understand that photos/video may be published online, in printed materials and/or for other promotional purposes, but only to help document student work and illustrate McHarper Manor and the teaching artists. I/We hereby waive any ownership rights, as well as any right that I/we may have to inspect or approve the finished product in which a photographic or video image may be used including the advertising copy or other matter that may be used in connection therewith or the use to which it may be applied.
This agreement releases McHarper Manor from all liability relating to injuries that may occur during classes, camps, workshops, or events. By signing this agreement, I agree to hold McHarper Manor entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence.

I also acknowledge the risks involved in any hands on event, class, camp, or workshop. These include but are not limited to burns, cuts, slips, falls, or other injury. I swear that I am participating voluntarily, and that all risks have been made clear to me. Additionally, I do not have any conditions that will increase my likelihood of experiencing injuries while engaging in this activity.

By registering and signing below I forfeit all right to bring a suit against McHarper Manor for any reason. In return, I will receive participation in the event for which I am registered. I will also make every effort to obey safety precautions as listed in writing and as explained to me verbally. I will ask for clarification when needed.
